Davido headlining FIFA’s 2026 World Cup countdown concert in Los Angeles confirms how far Afrobeats has travelled in just a few years.
The Nigerian superstar will perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert on June 10 in Los Angeles, alongside Major Lazer, in a synchronised global broadcast connecting the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
This is not the first time Davido performs on the FIFA World Cup stage. Back in 2022, he became the first Nigerian artist to perform on the FIFA World Cup stage in Qatar during the tournament’s closing ceremony.
